Hear from Dr. Atul Gawande in Conversation with Dana Goldman
Join us for our first in a series of conversations on the vital issues of health care reform in 2010.
Our first event will be with Dr. Atul Gawande who will speak on The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right.
Dr. Gawande is a Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public
Health graduate who has written several bestsellers including Better: A Surgeon's Notes on Performance.
He is a recipient of a McArthur Award for his research and writing, and
serves on the faculty at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Gawande will be
speaking in conversation with Dana Goodman, Norman Topping Chair in
Medicine and Public Policy at USC, as part of the ALOUD series at the
downtown public library.
